Cathryn Asip is a multimedia content executive, producer, and writer with over ten years experience in children’s educational media.

Cathryn currently oversees the development of new broadcast, streaming, and interactive content for PBS KIDS. She works with creators from pitch to pilot, helping shape their projects for the PBS KIDS audience. She also serves as a production executive for several current PBS KIDS series, including Phoebe & Jay, Rosie’s Rules, Pinkalicious & Peterrific, and Jelly, Ben & Pogo. In 2024, she was named one of Current’s Rising Stars in public media.

Cathryn is an alumna of Hollins University, a member of the New York Junior League, and a patient advocate at her local hospital. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
